Terms of Service
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BuildLink ATX website and subscription services ("Service"), operated by Liam Rutkowski, doing business as BuildLink ATX, in Austin, Texas ("we," "us"). By subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
BuildLink ATX provides weekly reports of construction projects compiled from public records, such as City of Austin building permits, along with related information like project scope, size, and contractor contact details as listed in those records. Some plans include additional services described on our pricing page.
2. No guarantee of results
BuildLink ATX provides job opportunities only. We are not a party to any bid, contract, or agreement between you and any general contractor, owner, or other company, and we do not guarantee that you will be invited to bid, awarded a contract, or paid for any work. Estimating, bidding, pricing, follow-up, licensing, insurance, and performing the work are solely your responsibility. We work to make our reports accurate and timely, but we do not guarantee that any project is still open for bidding, that any contact information is current, or that you will win any work. Public records can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. You are responsible for verifying information and for your own business decisions.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email. Applicable sales tax may be added.
4. Acceptable use
- Reports are for use by you and your company. Do not resell, republish, or share them outside your company.
- Use contact information respectfully and in line with applicable laws, including anti-spam laws.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or misuse the website or Service.
5. Account information
You agree to give accurate contact and billing information and to keep it up to date.
6. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost bids. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
7. Ending the Service
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or don't pay, and we will tell you by email.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make important changes, we will email subscribers before they take effect.
